Converting Existing Green Har-Tru Courts into HybridClay™

Converting existing green Har-Tru courts into HybridClay™ is a straightforward process thanks to the natural qualities of Har-Tru. Green clay, also known as metabasalt, functions as an excellent draining subbase, making it perfectly suited for the HybridClay™ system.

The Conversion Process

The conversion itself is simple: remove the line tapes, level the Har-Tru surface, and install the HybridClay™ system directly on top. This avoids costly excavation and makes upgrading both efficient and practical. By leveraging the existing infrastructure, clubs can make the transition without significant disruptions.

Growing Demand in the U.S.

While we have not yet completed a Har-Tru to HybridClay™ conversion in the United States, growing demand is clear. We are seeing significant interest from American clubs, and we aim to begin addressing this demand starting in 2026. The opportunity to provide players and facilities with sustainable, high-performance HybridClay™ courts on existing Har-Tru bases is one of the most exciting areas for our expansion in the U.S. market.

With a focus on sustainability and performance, the transition to HybridClay™ represents a forward-thinking approach for tennis facilities looking to enhance their offerings.
